Radiating combustionDetail of cross section of burnerFully premixThe “Modulating Fan” of each moduleplays a fundamental role. The manometrichead of the fan is directly programmedand controlled by the electronics of thepanel board (MBD), and will be higheror lower according to the temperaturedifference between the temperaturerequested by the C.H. system, the one setand the one measured. The main functionof the fan is to blow in air and gas andmix them in a special chamber; the mixtureis then pushed through the burner surface(metal sponge) where diffused radiatingcombustion occurs.All this ensures constant efficiency at anyoutput. At the same time CO and NOxemissions are reduced thanks to the limited“air excess” needed by these burners andthanks to the low combustion temperature.Radiating combustionThe most efficient way to transmit heatenergy, similar to that of the sun, is byemitting electromagnetic radiation.This combustion system is activated bythe incandescence of the “Metal Sponge”(on the burner head) whose wide surfaceguarantees both, low combustiontemperature and reduced turbulence, withthe following advantages:• greater transmission of energy, comparedwith a traditional burner at the sameflame temperature;• turbulence-free for total safety;• limited production of pollutants, due tototal oxidation of natural gas molecules;• low thermal and mechanical stressesfor durability, due to physicalimmutability of metal sponge;• silent combustion, due to lowmanometric head of premix modulatingfan, that is able to develop a soft flame;• easy maintenance, due to reducednumber of components and easy accessto them.Cast aluminum section for range 360 - 630
