VBS 2012 starts next month!!
For months the Christian Education Committee has been
planning this year’s Vacation Bible School—Sky—Everything is
possible with God! The dates have been set (Sunday, July 8—
Thursday, July 12), children are already signing up, we have
volunteers (but more are always needed!) and once again we
joined forces with Emmanuel Episcopal Church to design the
decorations. For the past few years the newsletter envelope for
June has been designated for the costs associated with VBS.
This year will be no exception. At VBS we provide each child
with a t-shirt, cd with the VBS music and materials for experiments,
as well as snacks each evening. It costs approximately
$10 per child and each year we welcome at least 60 to our VBS.
Thank you in advance for your support of this important outreach
of our church. Remember….everything IS possible with God!
