KLK7 was alsofound to be overexpressed in a subset of ovarian carcinomas(107). <strong>The</strong>re are reports describing connection of KLK8 expressionwith diseases of the central nervous system, includingepilepsy (209–212), injury (213, 214), and learningdisturbances (215). Another report describes KLK8 overexpressionin a subset of ovarian carcinomas (98). AlthoughKLK10 has been shown to be a breast cancer tumor suppressorin animal models (76, 99), there is no report as yetdescribing prognostic or diagnostic value of KLK10 in breastcarcinomas. Recently, KLK10 was found to be down-regulatedin more aggressive forms of prostate cancer (216).
