The resultsrevealed that the three genes were expresseddominantly in leaf among four tissues tested, <strong>and</strong>expressed at the lowest level in stem (Figure 7). Inaddition, the expression level of these genes in seedwas also relatively high. The expression patterns ofthe three genes across six developmental stages ofseed were illustrated in Figure 8. AhKR <strong>and</strong> AhENRgenes reached a maximum expression level at 25 DAP<strong>and</strong> showed a downward trend thereafter. In contrast,AhHD gene expressed in an irregular course duringseed development <strong>and</strong> had high expression at 25 <strong>and</strong>60 DAPs. These results indicated that these genes mayhave different biochemical functions during vegetativegrowth <strong>and</strong> seed development.- 15 -
