1. Submit a 3-­‐5 minute videotape of the team’s current routine with actual dancers who will
perform at the competition. Videos of past performances will NOT be accepted under any
circumstances. Videos should be submitted as an electronic file transfer, or in the
alternative as a DVD.
2. Scan valid photo IDs of each participant and compile them into one file. Include this in your
registration email. This is the same form of identification the participants must present
when checking in the day of the show. If submitting registration via mail, include copies of
Photo ID.
3. Complete the attached “Registration Form.”
4. All team members must sign and date the attached “Waiver and Release Form.” A legible
copy should be scanned and submitted electronically or mailed.
5. Team captains or representatives must sign the attached “Registration Fee Contract.”
6. Make an electronic payment of $150.00 via PayPal on www.bruinbhangra.com or directly to
the following account: bruinbhangraticketing@gmail.com. If submitting via mail, include a
check for $150.00 made payable to Bruin Bhangra.
Selection Process:
1. Members of the Bruin Bhangra Registration Committee will have access to the Registration
packets. These members will review packets and select teams to compete in Bruin Bhangra
XIII.
2. The Bruin Bhangra Registration Committee will evaluate videotape submissions based on
the actual judging criteria for the competition.
Notification Process:
1. Team captains or representative will be notified of their team’s status no later than
Sunday, March 6th, 2011 either by phone or email. Confirmation from teams accepted to
the competition will be expected within 48 hours of notification.
2. The additional $100.00 payment for accepted teams is also required within 48 hours of
notification.
3. Teams who are selected to compete will be sent post-­‐registration materials regarding the
competition to complete. Failure to complete the additional materials will result in point
deductions and/or retraction of acceptance.
