2011<br />
1. Submit a 3-‐5 minute videotape of the team’s current routine with actual dancers who will<br />
perform at the competition. Videos of past performances will NOT be accepted under any<br />
circumstances. Videos should be submitted as an electronic file transfer, or in the<br />
alternative as a DVD.<br />
2. Scan valid photo IDs of each participant and compile them into one file. Include this in your<br />
registration email. This is the same form of identification the participants must present<br />
when checking in the day of the show. If submitting registration via mail, include copies of<br />
Photo ID.<br />
3. Complete the attached “Registration Form.”<br />
4. All team members must sign and date the attached “Waiver and Release Form.” A legible<br />
copy should be scanned and submitted electronically or mailed.<br />
5. Team captains or representatives must sign the attached “Registration Fee Contract.”<br />
6. Make an electronic payment of $150.00 via PayPal on www.bruinbhangra.com or directly to<br />
the following account: bruinbhangraticketing@gmail.com. If submitting via mail, include a<br />
check for $150.00 made payable to <strong>Bruin</strong> <strong>Bhangra</strong>.<br />
Selection Process:<br />
1. Members of the <strong>Bruin</strong> <strong>Bhangra</strong> Registration Committee will have access to the Registration<br />
packets. These members will review packets and select teams to compete in <strong>Bruin</strong> <strong>Bhangra</strong><br />
XIII.<br />
2. The <strong>Bruin</strong> <strong>Bhangra</strong> Registration Committee will evaluate videotape submissions based on<br />
the actual judging criteria for the competition.<br />
Notification Process:<br />
1. Team captains or representative will be notified of their team’s status no later than<br />
Sunday, March 6th, 2011 either by phone or email. Confirmation from teams accepted to<br />
the competition will be expected within 48 hours of notification.<br />
2. The additional $100.00 payment for accepted teams is also required within 48 hours of<br />
notification.<br />
3. Teams who are selected to compete will be sent post-‐registration materials regarding the<br />
competition to complete. Failure to complete the additional materials will result in point<br />
deductions and/or retraction of acceptance.
