BienvenueThe Institut français is the official French government centre of languageand culture in London, and has been teaching French since 1910.Our CoursesIn addition to general language courses, we cover cultural, business andprofessional aspects of French. We offer a wide choice of courses and levels,either one-to-one or in groups, at an equally wide choice of days and times.Our TeachersOur 70 instructors are all native French speakers, qualified and highlytrained professionals teachers. We also hold regular seminars to keep ourtutors up to date on the latest teaching methods.Our ApproachWe offer a friendly and stimulating environment to help you gain confidencein French. The emphasis is on communication, both oral and written,through active student participation. All classes are conducted in French.Helping You Every Step of the WayFrom the start, we make sure that you are placed in the most suitable classby arranging a free initial assessment by phone. Throughout your Frenchstudies, we check your progress regularly. At the end of your course, youwill receive a Certificate of Attendance, specifying your level of French.Our FacilitiesYou will have full access to a language laboratory, video and audio-visualequipment, the latest teaching aids and a direct satellite link to French TV.A Corner of France in South KensingtonWe are the only language centre that also offers you a cultural experience.All our students are entitled to free membership to our Cultural Centre forone year.Every year, 7000 students choose to learn French from the experts – whydon’t you?| 3 |
