For the lesser valued items, weare having those items authenticated and noted with aunique sticker/certificate combination for each item. In theremaining cases, on lots with more than one autographeditem, we will issue one blanket auction letter of authenticityfor the entire lot (although we are trying to do away withthis altogether, but sometimes it is the only cost effectivemethod). This is the original letter that we receive from theauthentication company describing the offered lot. You mayuse this "auction" LOA to obtain individual LOA's shouldyou chose to do that. Please call if you have any questionsregarding these auction lot LOA's.PLEASE NOTE: Once a bid is placed, we CANNOTretract it. We have two safeguards to make sure that you areaware of the bid that you are placing, and which lot you arebidding on. Bid retraction will result in cancellation of allbids in the auction and bidding privileges revoked. In today's worldof autopens, secretarial, clubhouse and ghost signers, youcan rest assured that your autographed items from H&Shave passed the most stringent examination.Note: For those that do not know, a "clubhouse" signaturewas a common practice among teams where the key playerswould not actually sign the item, but a clubhouse attendantwould sign for the player. We note any signature that is aclubhouse signature.About Our Grading:Many lots, throughout the auction have been Professionallygraded and encapsulated by independent grading companies.Many other lots have been graded by our highly educatedwriters. For the most part, these are conservativegrades, but we are human and sometimes we may misssomething. We are not responsible for a third party gradingcompany agreeing or disagreeing with our assessment andwe cannot issue refunds or credits if cards do not receive anumerical grade or the exact grade that we describe.
