These can be posted to:L2P CoordinatorYouth ServicesMornington Peninsula ShirePrivate Bag 1000Rosebud 3939When the application and letter have been received, the young person:● Will be contacted to attend an informal information session● Provide Learners Permit to L2P Coordinator for identification check and currencycheck by Vic Roads.● Attend a formal interviewAll applications will be considered on an individual basis.Applications not meeting the selection criteria will be put forward to the SteeringCommittee before a decision will be made on eligibility to participate in the program.** Please note that applications meeting the selection criteria will take priority over all otherapplications.It is to be noted that at any point through the process, an applicant may be deemedunsuitable for the L2P program. In this case the applicant and referring agency, will benotified and the application process ceased. The decision is made by the L2P Coordinatorin conjunction with the L2P Steering Committee and is final.The selection of learners is a process by the L2P Coordinator and Steering Committee:● L2P Coordinator to conduct an informal information session about the program● L2P Coordinator to process application● L2P Coordinator to book a formal interview time with applicant● L2P Coordinator and one/two Steering Committee members to conduct formalinterview● L2P Coordinator to take successful applications to Steering Committee forendorsement● L2P Coordinator to notify all potential learners on the decision of their application● L2P Coordinator to provide L2P learners with handbook and booking procedures.The L2P Coordinator is to provide the learners with ongoing support and up to dateinformation about the program. The L2P Coordinator will have regular contact withlearners to maintain open communication in order to address issues as they arise in atimely manner.
