from the Office of the Presidentand the General Supervisora message from your New District SupervisorArt GrayWide open! This simple, yet profound statement taken from Revelation 3:8, expresses the themeof Connection, our 2009 Foursquare convention. It also reflects our anticipationof God’s purposes for The Foursquare Church as we boldly follow Him into a newseason of fruitful ministry worldwide. The familial relationship in The Foursquare Church and the bond of trust we sharehave brought us to an exciting place in our church’s history. We are officially launching14 new districts that are led by newly appointed supervisors who will lead our ministersand ministries into the Lord’s harvest. As you read the information in this brochure relating to the launch of your new district, please do so with great care and intercession. Pray for your newly installed districtsupervisor and for the other district supervisors who will lead our ministers andministries into the Lord’s harvest. There is no finer hour to serve the Lord in the Foursquare family than today. As neverbefore our collective commitment is to partner toward a common mission of reaching, resourcing and releasing leaders to God’s full potential. As we set our hearts to mobilizethe next generation and equip emerging leaders for the work of the ministry, we knowyou sense the passion of God to do everything possible so these leaders mature intoeffective and successful ministers of the Gospel.Dear Pastor:It is with a great sense of expectancy about what God is going to do that we move into this new season of serving theGreater Los Angeles District. Pam and I are excited to serve such a tremendous region of leaders. As I have been prayingover the past few months to discern the heart of the Lord for our district, I have heard three distinct streams leading us toa particular direction. I sense the Lord taking us into a season of: 1) prophetic impact; 2) dynamic restoration; and 3) healingof our land. The church in the U.S. has, in many ways, lost its voice. Whether it is relative to politics, the media or issues that affect ourchildren, the church is not considered the first voice to listen to and, in fact, is often characterized as a voice that should notbe considered at all. God is calling and causing His church to a renewed voice in the culture of our communities and ourcountry. In the Greater Los Angeles District, I sense our churches will gain or continue to have a prophetic impact on theircommunities.I believe there will be a dynamic restoration of what has been lost in so many of the lives and ministries of our leaderstoday. One of the purposes of a denomination is to steward resources for the benefit of all. I believe as we come togetherto stand with and support one another, there are dreams and visions that are going to come to fruition for us individuallyand as a district.A healing of our land will further as we partner together in this region. I believe that for it to happen in this region, it musthappen in your specific location. Our desire is to find creative ways to serve you as you continue to lead in the healing oflives and families in your local churches.Through the building of relationships and developing community, we seek to serve you to success in serving His kingdom.Determined to win for the kingdom,Our continued prayer is that the launch of your new district will bring about healthand vitality to your region, your community and to your local assembly of believers.Praise God for His continued anointing on The Foursquare Church!Contact InformationGreater Los Angeles DistrictArt GrayGreater Los Angeles District SupervisorPastor Jack W.
