61. The computer system in operation at Feltham was the Local InformationData System (LIDS) and that has been in place, I believe, since 1987. I do notknow what the system at Feltham is like now but at the time I was there it did notcontain any significant information and was a basic record device. I now use anupdated version of LIDS which is capable of recording much more information.Supervision62. My Line Manager was Principal Officer Paul Clark but as a Senior Officer I hadday-to-day operational control where I worked and for the prison officers whoworkedin that area. On a Wing or Unit you work very closely with colleagues.63.
