About the ShipThe Ship, SV Maple LeafMaple Leaf is a beautiful 92-foot schooner.The Coast’s Beloved, Historic Tall ShipBuilt of coastal Douglas fir, high elevation yellowcedar and mahogany, she is a tough expeditionvessel and a work of artistry.Transport Canada CertifiedMaple Leaf is certified by Transport Canada as apassenger carrying vessel. This stringent, world-classdesgination is the highest standard of certificationfor vessels in Canada (higher than most charterboats, sail training vessels, and fishing vessels, forexample).Comfort and BeautyMaple Leaf’s accommodations are very comfortable.Mahogany and fir line the galley, dining salonand wheelhouse.
