EXTRA - FLUGZEUGBAU GmbHSERVICE MANUAL EXTRA 30024-00-00 GENERALThis Chapter describes the electrical power system and itsoperation. This covers the battery system and the alternatorsystem.The battery system consists of the dryfit A200 battery(Sonnenschein GmbH, Büdingen, Germany), the masterrelay and the associated wiring. The battery is located in themiddle of the aft the firewall; the master relay somecentimeters left.The alternator system consists of the alternator (PRESTO-LITE; ALX8421LS) with integrated DC converter and theB-00371-25 Lamar alternator control box which containsan voltage regulator adjusted to 13.8 Volts and an overvoltagetrip cutting the circuit at 16 volts.
