Essex campus. He will present his
game show Love G.E.A.R.S
about building healthy
relationships- friendships,
romantic
relationships, or
just a renewed
relationship with
yourself.

Reception
Who has helped you be
successful at CCBC? Let’s
honor them!
Is there someone (student,
faculty, or staff member) you
look up to who has significantly
helped you be successful during
your first year of college? It is
now your chance to show your
appreciation and recognize them
at the Recognition Reception in
May. Nomination forms will be
available through the ACDV
course and also in the Student
Life Office. Take the time to
recognize someone. Both you
and the person you nominated
will be invited to a reception
where your nominee will be
honored and recognized for their
role in your success.

Involvement
Service: Walk to Cure Diabetes
As a part of this semester’s FYE
program, there will be a service
project offered. We will be walking
in the Washington D.C. Walk to
Cure Diabetes, sponsored by
Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation. It will take place on
Sunday, May 2, 2010 and will
start at 10am. There is no
registration fee and donating is
encourage but not required. The
Walk is a 5K (3.1 miles) and will
trace the outside of the stadium
twice, finishing with a final lap on
the warning track of the
field. There will also be free food
and entertainment before and
after the event. This is a great
way to give back to the
community and have fun at the
same time. For more information

Transportation will be provided
from CCBC. Students who wish
to attend on behalf of CCBC are
asked to sign-up in the Student
Life Office on their campus or email
