Other undergradsand allumni who attended theinitiation are shown above.On Tuesday, March 6, 2012, Dr. Frank Macchiarola wasinducted as a graduate brother of the Beta Sigma Chapterin a ceremony held at St. Francis College. Dr. Macchiarola isthe current Chancellor of St. Francis College and formercollege President from 1996-2008. Dr. Macchiarola wasinstrumental as student government president in 1962, helpingsecure the votes which allowed Alpha Phi Delta to be a recognizedfraternity at the college. During his later years as collegePresident, he would take an active interest in the chapter byoffering advice, guidance, and routinely having lunch with thebrothers in the school. The alumni who ledthe seminar included Bill Beuther, Todd Cusato, Frank Di Maria, Sal Flagiello, Alex Franki, Nick Franki, Pete Gaudiuso, Vasilios Klitsas, ChrisMancusi, Ben Ruggiero, Ron Sme, Rick Trieste, John Whyte, and Mike Young. There were also 60 NYC undergrads at the event, helping the totalattendance top 100 brothers.Gamma Sigma at St. John’s inducts its first class in two years! Theywelcomed six new brothers into Alpha Phi Delta on March 25.RIGHT: The Midwest District held its springmeeting on April 14 at Steubenville, hosted bythe Beta Theta Chapter.ABOVE: Gamma Rho won the New YorkCity Spring 2012 Pledge bowl on March 24,making them back-to-back winners.LEFT: Theta Beta Chapter at NYU inductedfive new brothers on April 1.
