III. Stage Equipment and Perishables (Consumables)The following is a list of perishables and equipment to be provided by the Presenter at each venue.2 Rolls of 2” BLACK Gaff tape1 Roll BLACK Duct Tape1 Roll Electrical Tape1 Tube Quick Grip / Krazy Glue2 Prop/wardrobe tables – 8’ tables for use off stage right and left6 Chairs (backstage)3 Wardrobe racks:(2) min 6 feet tall back stage for Puppets(1) in Dressing room for wardrobe10 20lb (minimum) sand/shot bags or stage weights – for inflatable set piece.1 Forklift (if no loading dock or ramp is available)IV. FreightThe show travels in ONE (1) road box. Secure storage will be needed for the road box during the show’srun. Please note that the road box may arrive or depart before or after the run of the show, and will need to bestored securely until scheduled company load in or until freight pick up after Company has loaded out.Freight Vehicle is NOT guaranteed to have lift gate. SceneryInflatable SceneryThe Show travels with inflatable set pieces. Calamites, that range in height from 16’-22’, and Hay Baleswith an irregular footprint with dimensions of approximately of 13’ (L) x 5 ½’ (H) x 3’ (W)as well as two (2) Sahara Turbo Dryer fan that are used to inflate the pieces.Cyc/TravellerThe Presenter will provide a white full stage seamless cyclorama if cyc lights are in the rep plot,or a black traveler upstage if cyc lights are not available.Page 4 of 10
Hay BalesThe Show also travels with two (2) prop hay/straw bale cubes used as set elements.Bales are approximately 18” x 18” x 36”For outdoor/open space performances:Presenter is required to provide approximately 30-40 bales of hay or straw to be used to create playing area /audience seating. (SEE ATTACHED DIAGRAM FOR OUTDOOR / OPEN SPACE PERFORMACE)*Please note bales are both sat on and stood on by children and adults.VI. LightingAll lighting equipment (console, instruments, cabling, dimmers, consumables etc) is to be supplied by thePresenter. The Presenter will also provide a competent operator/ programmer for the Show, in addition to thecrew to hang, focus and run the lighting.The Show uses a variety of basic washes and systems and can be created using most repertory lighting plots. Thereare approximately 5-15 cues for the show depending on lighting available at the theater.Light plot must be hung and colored, plugged, soft-patched and in good working order prior to company’s arrival.All lighting systems (with the exception of show-specific specials) to be rough-focused prior to company’s arrival.Presenter supplies all gel and 4 standard breakup templates/gobos.An ETC console is preferred. All cues are in basic playback; a console with at least 4 submasters is preferred.Standard dimming has been 84 - 2.4K dimmers, but the total number of dimmers can be easily cut, with furtheradjustment as needed.Sufficient cabling, barn doors, irises, template holders, gel frames and gel required. Venue should provide at leastfour sheets of heatshield for the saturated colors.Circuits should not be two-fered without consultation with the Production’s technical staff.Preferred hanging positions:Minimum 3 Front of House Positions and 3 On Stage Electrics3 Booms per side with head, mid and shin units.The general playing space is divided into 3-4 playing areas (depending upon stage width) with individual channelingand control if possible (downstage, midstage and upstage).
