Cleaning, maintenance and care
▌ The appliance will maintain this temperature until you make another
entry.
▌ The status indicators will show you the current status of the function.
▌ When the appliance has reached the set chamber temperature, an
acoustic signal will sound.
▌ You have set up and started the Chamber Temperature function.
� The moisture in the cooking chamber is controlled by means of the steam valve on
the front of the appliance.
8 Cleaning, maintenance and care
The chapter will help you to meet the hygiene requirements. Before reading this section, please read through
the "General safety instructions" section thoroughly first.
8.1 Safety information relating to cleaning, maintenance and care
Avoid dangers due to hot parts or areas
WARNING!
Danger of burning one's hands and arms on the hot surfaces around the hot cooking
modules.
► Allow the appliance to cool down.
► Wear protective gloves.
► Keep unauthorised persons away from the appliance.
Avoid dangers by pointed parts
� WARNING! Danger of injury when handling the core temperature sensor.
Avoid dangers due to electricity
WARNING!
Danger of electric shock. Risk of death.
► Every time before you clean the appliance, turn the appliance off and unplug the
mains connector.
► Never direct a jet of water at electrical components, such as control panel, or the
ventilation opening.
► Do not use a steam cleaning unit to clean electrical appliances. Doing so may allow
moisture to get into the electrical system and cause a short circuit.
► Check the heating and mains cable for any damage.
► Electrical equipment should be inspected by a qualified electrician at least every
6 months.
