ABOUT THE MULLANE HEALY GODLEY BOOSTER CLUBThe MHG Academy’s Booster Club was established to support the dancerswithin the Academy in many different ways. Proceeds from hosting theannual MHG Family Feis in the spring, the Halloween Feis, the Night ofShenanigans, and other fundraising events are used for the sole purposeof providing for our dancers and promoting school unity.Some of the financial assistance and events that the Booster Clubprovides and will be providing for the dancers in the Academy:Annual Christmas PartySt. Patrick’s Day ParadesSchool PartiesBeginner Assistance at FeisesSchool Dress Rental FeesEnd of the Year Pool PartyPerformancesPicnicsTravel Stipends for Overseas CompetitionTravel Stipends for North American ChampionshipsThe annual dues for a Tot, Beginner 1 or 2, or Recreational MHG dance family is $15.00 per year.The annual dues for all other dancers is $40 per family per year. Through the support of all theMHG families of the Academy, the Booster Club provides great opportunities for participation andcreates great memories and friendships for the dancers.ABOUT THE MULLANE HEALY GODLEY ACADEMYIn October, 2007, with great anticipation and excitement, theMullane Healy Godley Academy was born. The family-runMullane Irish Dance Academy, which was established in 1985and Gary Healy joined talents and for the past five years haveestablished a program that offers quality instruction fromrecreational dancers to World Champion dancers.For 25 years, the Mullane Healy Godley Academy has strivedto instill in each child a sense of confidence- from our WorldChampion decorated dancers, to our young beginners and tots– an atmosphere where each dancer receives the individualattention and instruction that they deserve.Classes are held in our state of the art studios in Elmhurst,NW Chicago, and also in the Quad-Cities. The size of the teaching staff affords all current dancersavenues such as performances, recitals, choreographies, School Feises, workshops and Academyevents. Recent competitive successes include solo and team gold medals at the RegionalOireachtas, the North American Irish Dance Championships, the All-Ireland Dance Championships,the All Scotland Championships and at the World Championships.For 25 years, the MHG Academy has always maintained an excellence in quality Irish danceinstruction and we look forward to continuing that tradition into the future.
