USAGE GUIDELINESCLEAR SPACE“Clear space” is the protected area around the logo that maximizesits impact. This space must be kept free of all other graphics and text,including other logos. It is also the minimum distance the logo can befrom the edges of an electronic document or printed piece.Use the size of the gear in the middle of the atom as the guide forhow much clear space should surround the logo.MINIMUM SIZEThe <strong>PLTW</strong> logo should always be sized proportionally and neversmaller than .5 inches tall for the horizontal logo or one inch tall forthe vertical logo.1"7
