PUBLISHER’SIt’s hard to believe that we launched our first issue of “Allegheny West Magazine” in August 1999 when we debutedour West Allegheny edition. Now we are starting our 12th year of serving our fellow friends and neighbors here inour airport communities.Yes, so many of you have become our friends and neighbors, in the community sense. We have learned so muchfrom you and shared so many things with all of you about where we all live and work. You reaffirm for me what awonderful community this is and why I live here and make my living here.Not only am I excited to reach this milestone, but I am equally gratified to have this continued opportunity toserve the businesses and the people and organizations of these communities that we call home, too.As a 35-year resident of our neighborhood, I not only live here and work here, but I worship here, volunteer here,dine here, shop here, vote here, and play here.Yes, I’m one of you, and I remain committed to serving you, our neighbors, with as much positive news andinformation as we can squeeze into every issue. This community is as important to me as it is to you.And, while this is my business and how I make my living, I know the value of your support and I know howimportant it is to serve you to the best of my ability.So, keep the good news coming!
