18BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the PublicBuilding Commission hereby approves Project Undertaking Request No. 36 fromthe Office of Emergency Management and the Office of Budget and Managementof the City of Chicago to provide and install a fiber optic cable run connectingNavy Pier cameras to the OVS network for an estimated project budget of$189,983.00.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director and theappropriate officials of the Public Building Commission of Chicago areauthorized and directed to execute, upon approval by Legal Counsel as to formand legality, such documents and to undertake such actions as may be necessaryand appropriate in order to implement this Resolution.Commissioners voting in the affirmative:Rahm Emanuel, Byron T. Brazier,Martin Cabrera, Jr., Toni Preckwinkle,Arnold L. Randall, Bryan Traubert,and Mariyana T. Spyropoulos – 7Commissioners voting in the negative:NoneThe next item to be considered by the Board of Commissioners during theExecutive Session was Project Undertaking Request No. 37 from the Office of EmergencyManagement and Communications and the Office of Budget and Management of the City ofChicago to provide and install a License Plate Recognition (LPR) Camera at Navy Pier for anestimated project budget of $35,300.00.At the conclusion of the Executive Session, the meeting was reconvened and thefollowing resolution was adopted:RESOLUTION NO. 7922BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the PublicBuilding Commission hereby approves Project Undertaking Request No. 37 fromthe Office of Emergency Management and the Office of Budget and Managementof the City of Chicago to provide and install a License Plate Recognition (LPR)camera at Navy Pier for an estimated project budget of $35,300.00.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director and theappropriate officials of the Public Building Commission of Chicago areauthorized and directed to execute, upon approval by Legal Counsel as to formand legality, such documents and to undertake such actions as may be necessaryand appropriate in order to implement this Resolution.April 2013
