The fifth decade: 2005–2015 - St. John's International School

The boys soccer team won the ISST and was promoted to Div 1, which made St. John’s the onlyinternational school in Belgium to have all its sports teams in Division 1.The High School musical Grease sold out all four performances. The Gala was held at the ConcertNoble in Brussels and raised €20,000 for the PAC projector and the Learning Commons.Alumni Harriet Burgess and Anastasia Psaltopoulos were hired as receptionist and purchasingofficer respectively.A focus on bringing state-of-the-art technology into the classrooms brought netbooks for staff andstudents.Enrollment was stable around 900 throughout the year.Dr. Marjan Blok was appointed deputy director for the 2011–2012 school year, and a new HighSchool principal was appointed. A new strategic plan was developed for the next five years.
