Using the Remote Control UnitTransmitRewindForwardRecordPower onPlay/pauseThe remote control unit is an MP3 player, with an MP3 recorder, and has an infra-red wirelesstransmitter so that the teacher can collectively control the headphones. With this unit you are ableto:• Play MP3 files through the built-in speaker, or plug in a pair of headphones• Transmit audio content to the headphones. This content could be:• uploaded to the remote control unit via the Easi-Ears software (see p. 10)• streamed MP3: transmitted directly from a microphone or other audio device that’splugged into the unit.• Control the headphones’ play, pause and next/ previous track functionality• Record audio directly into MP3 format using the built-in microphone, or an externalmicrophone plugged into the microphone socket.7
