Terms & conditions<br />
TERMS: Terms of sale are cash or personal check<br />
(US Funds) with proper identification. Payment in<br />
full must be made to cashier immediately after the<br />
sale. If you are not from the surrounding area and<br />
will be paying by check, you will need to bring a letter<br />
of credit from you bank to verify funds available. A<br />
driver’s license will be required to write checks. All<br />
“returned” checks or insufficient funds checks will<br />
be immediately turned over to the Hughes County<br />
District Attorney and charges will be filed. There<br />
will be a $100 fee assessed on all returned checks.<br />
NO EXCEPTIONS.<br />
BIDDING: Every animal sells to the highest bidder<br />
with auctioneer having sole authority settling<br />
disputes as to bids. The auctioneer reserves the right<br />
to reject any and all bids.<br />
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRECTIONS: Every effort<br />
has been made to insure that information in the<br />
catalogue is correct. Sellers are not responsible for<br />
any errors or emissions. Announcements and printed<br />
changes and corrections of catalogue information on<br />
sale day take precedence over printed material.<br />
BUYERS: All prospective buyers must register for<br />
a buyer number with the clerks prior to the sale<br />
providing name, complete address, phone numbers<br />
and banking information.<br />
REGISTRATION: All horses are registered or pending<br />
registration with AQHA unless announced otherwise.<br />
Once payment has cleared seller’s bank, buyers are<br />
responsible to transfer the purchased horse and for<br />
the transfer fee. Original papers and transfers will<br />
be mailed once their settlement has cleared the<br />
bank. Buyers paying cash may pick up papers on<br />
sale day.<br />
HEALTH: All horses will be tested negative for<br />
Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins) and have health<br />
checked and provided for out of state buyers for<br />
transport unless otherwise stated. All horses in<br />
this sale to the best of our knowledge are free of<br />
any disease or defect. Any defect will be called at<br />
sale time.<br />
SOUNDNESS: Prospective buyers can make<br />
arrangements to have a qualified veterinarian<br />
examine a horse before the sale starts at the<br />
buyers expense. A Veterinarian will be available<br />
on premises sale day. Buyer has 48 hours from the<br />
time of purchase, with the horse not having left the<br />
sale premises, to challenge soundness.<br />
POSSESSION: All horses are property of buyer<br />
immediately after the horse is sold and settlement<br />
has been made. Whereas certain weanlings will<br />
be granted the option of the buyer to remain with<br />
the mare for 30 days at no extra charge. The buyer<br />
assumes all risk and will provide proof of insurance<br />
at their expense and will voluntarily sign a Release<br />
of Liability. Seller will in good faith care for the<br />
horse with no liability. No horse will be removed<br />
from the grounds until a paid sales receipt is shown<br />
to the person responsible for loading out.<br />
LIABILITY: Buyers and spectators are cautioned<br />
to be careful while on the grounds. All persons<br />
attending the sale, do so at their own risk. Neither<br />
the owners nor any other person connected with<br />
this sale assume any liability or otherwise, for<br />
accidents to persons or property, before, during or<br />
after the sale.<br />
CONSIGNED HORSES: The Central SD <strong>Ranch</strong>ers<br />
and Breeders Sale acts only as an agent for the<br />
Consigners in the sale and does not assume any<br />
responsibility of the animals sold or their usefulness.<br />
Sales are between Purchaser and Consigner.<br />
