On 26 July 2008, a Memorial Dedication Ceremony for Corporal Thomas Noonan, Co.<br />
E, 4 th New York Heavy Artillery was held at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.<br />
<strong>SUVCW</strong> Brother Richard E. Schneider, Jr. <strong>of</strong> Slidell, Louisiana was inducted into the<br />
William T. Sherman Camp # 65 by <strong>Department</strong> Commander Emmett Taylor. Brother<br />
Schneider was also inducted into the Spirit <strong>of</strong> St. Louis Chapter, Sons <strong>of</strong> American<br />
Revolution by past Chapter President William Groth.<br />
Brother Schneider is still recovering from the damages caused by Hurricane Katrina.<br />
Also participating were representatives <strong>of</strong> DUVCW; members <strong>of</strong> the Allied Orders <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Grand Army: Woman’s Relief Corps; LGAR; Auxillary, <strong>SUVCW</strong>; and Daughters <strong>of</strong> the<br />
American Revolution, Webster Groves Chapter.<br />
