24th Asia-Pacific Teachers Training WorkshopThe curriculum contents, resources and methodologies presented in the workshop were guided byvalues and principles promoted by key UNESCO declarations and documents, including UNESCO’sDeclaration and Integrated Framework of Action on Education for Peace, Human Rights &Democracy, the Report of the International Commission of Education for the 21st Century andUNESCO’s Culture of Peace Program.Teachers who participated in the workshop thus obtained knowledge and skills enabling them tointegrate themes and issues of a culture of peace, human rights, democracy and sustainability into theirsubject areas and schooling practices.
