_____________GARIS PANDUAN PELAKSANAAN PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUSBAHAGIAN 1 : PENGENALAN1.0 NAMA DAN TARIKH BERKUATKUASA<strong>Panduan</strong> ini dinamakan ‘<strong>Garis</strong> <strong>Panduan</strong> <strong>Pelaksanaan</strong> <strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong>Politeknik Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi’ dan hendaklah mula berkuatkuasa pada 28Julai 2011.2.0 TUJUANPensyarah adalah fasilitator dalam proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran idea,kemahiran dan konsep serta mengukur pencapaian hasil pembelajaran pelajar darisemasa ke semasa.<strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong> dilaksanakan secara berterusan dengan menggunakan pelbagaikaedah yang ditetapkan dalam dokumen kurikulum. <strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong> digunakanuntuk memantau pencapaian pelajar sepanjang semester, menyediakan maklum balastentang perkembangan pencapaian pelajar dan menjana pemberian gred.<strong>Garis</strong> panduan ini disediakan untuk memudahkan pensyarah melaksanakan <strong>Penilaian</strong><strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong> bagi Sistem Pengajian Politeknik secara sistematik. <strong>Garis</strong> panduan inidiharap dapat:i. memberi kefahaman kepada pensyarah mengenai konsep <strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong><strong>Kursus</strong>.ii.iii.membantu pensyarah melaksanakan <strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong>.membantu pensyarah menyediakan dokumen dan rekod proses <strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong><strong>Kursus</strong>.3.0 TAFSIRANDalam panduan ini, melainkan jika konteksnya menghendaki makna yang lain:-”<strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong>” bermaksud kerja yang dilaksanakan oleh pelajar di politeknik yangmenyumbang kepada keputusan penilaian keseluruhan yang dinilai secara berasingandari peperiksaan akhir. <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong> boleh dilaksanakan secara individu atauberkumpulan.”<strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong>” bermaksud kaedah pentaksiran yang dibuat secaraberterusan bagi mengukur hasil pembelajaran pelajar dalam mencapai pengetahuan,kemahiran praktikal dan kemahiran insaniah yang ditetapkan.2


_____________GARIS PANDUAN PELAKSANAAN PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUS4.0 SKOP<strong>Garis</strong> panduan ini perlu dipatuhi dalam proses pelaksanaan <strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong> yangmenyumbang kepada gred keseluruhan pelajar. <strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong> mengukur hasilpembelajaran pelajar dalam aspek pengetahuan, kemahiran praktikal dan kemahiraninsaniah.5.0 OBJEKTIF PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUS<strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong> dijalankan bertujuan untuk:i. mengukur perkembangan pengetahuan.ii.iii.iv.mengukur tahap pencapaian kemahiran praktikal.menilai kemahiran insaniah.membantu pelajar mengenal pasti tahap pencapaian semasa untuk merancang,mengubahsuai dan menambahbaik kaedah pembelajaran.v. membantu pensyarah menilai keberkesanan pengajaran dan seterusnyamerancang, mengubahsuai dan menambahbaik kaedah pengajaran.3


_____________GARIS PANDUAN PELAKSANAAN PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUSBAHAGIAN 2 : BENTUK DAN KAEDAH PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUS6.0 BENTUK PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUSTerdapat tiga bentuk penilaian yang boleh dijalankan:6.1 <strong>Penilaian</strong> Kendiri (Self Assessment)<strong>Penilaian</strong> kendiri adalah merujuk kepada peluang yang diberikan kepada pelajaruntuk menilai pencapaian atau pembelajaran diri mereka sendiri. <strong>Penilaian</strong>kendiri membolehkan pelajar menganalisis pencapaian mereka dan memberikanpeluang untuk pelajar bertanggungjawab terhadap pembelajaran. Bagimenjalankan penilaian kendiri, pelajar perlu mengetahui dengan tepat tujuanpenilaian kendiri dan hasil pembelajaran yang dijangkakan. Pensyarah bertindaksebagai moderator dengan memberi maklum balas kepada pelajar mengenaikualiti penilaian kendiri mereka.6.2 <strong>Penilaian</strong> Rakan Sebaya (Peer Assessment)<strong>Penilaian</strong> rakan sebaya membolehkan:i. ahli kumpulan untuk menilai ahli kumpulan yang lain dan juga diri merekasendiri.ii.pelajar melihat satu sama lain sebagai sumber untuk memahami danmenyemak kualiti kerja berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan.<strong>Penilaian</strong> rakan sebaya dapat membantu pelajar memperoleh pengetahuan dankefahaman, menggalakkan penglibatan aktif dalam proses penilaian,meningkatkan penumpuan dan memotivasikan pelajar. Data penilaian rakansebaya boleh digunakan untuk menetapkan markah individu bagi tugasanberkumpulan.6.3 <strong>Penilaian</strong> Oleh Pensyarah<strong>Penilaian</strong> oleh pensyarah atau penilai luar merupakan penilaian diagnostik yangboleh dijadikan panduan dalam perancangan pensyarah. Pensyarah perlumemberi maklum balas tentang pencapaian pelajar berdasarkan kriteria yangtelah ditetapkan. Maklum balas berkaitan dengan tahap pengetahuan, kemajuandan pencapaian setiap pelajar perlu disampaikan dengan jelas supaya dapatdigunakan untuk menambah baik pengajaran dan pembelajaran.Bentuk-bentuk penilaian di atas dapat dinilai menggunakan kaedah-kaedah yangterdapat di dalam Lampiran A.4

_____________GARIS PANDUAN PELAKSANAAN PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUS7.1 TugasanTugasan adalah satu bentuk aktiviti bagi sesuatu kursus yang perlu dilaksanakanoleh pelajar di luar bilik kuliah. Tugasan merangkumi pelbagai kerja berasaskanindividu atau kumpulan dan mungkin melibatkan capaian maklumat melaluiperpustakaan, internet dan sebagainya.7.2 Ujian dan KuizUjian adalah instrumen yang digunakan bagi mengukur hasil pembelajaranpelajar dalam pengetahuan, kemahiran praktikal, kemahiran insaniah, bakat dankecergasan fizikal. Ujian terdiri daripada beberapa bentuk seperti soalanbercetak atau lisan, prestasi tahap fizikal, pemerhatian tingkah laku, hasilpembelajaran kemahiran praktikal.Kuiz merupakan set item pendek dan ringkas yang diberikan oleh pensyarahketika habis pengajaran sesebuah topik atau sub-topik. Tempoh pelaksanaankuiz biasanya antara 5 hingga 10 minit dan markah yang diperuntukkan mestilahbersesuaian dengan item. Kuiz selalunya dijalankan di dalam kelas pada waktuitu juga atau secara atas talian (online quiz). Bilangan kuiz bagi setiap kursusadalah seperti yang ditetapkan dalam dokumen kurikulum.7.3 PortfolioPortfolio adalah pengumpulan sistematik hasil kerja (ujian, jurnal, tugasan, eseiperibadi, laporan amali, projek dan kajian kes) pelajar yang mempamerkankeupayaan, perkembangan dan pencapaian dalam kursus tertentu. <strong>Penilaian</strong>Portfolio dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan rubrik yang bersesuaian (contohrubrik seperti Lampiran B1).7.4 PembentanganPembentangan adalah satu agenda visual dan lisan yang dirancang dandirekabentuk bagi tujuan mendapatkan kefahaman, persetujuan atau tindakan.Pengukuran kognitif dalam pembentangan menumpukan kepada kejelasantujuan dan maklumat yang perlu disampaikan (berpandukan kepada peraturanpemarkahan atau rubrik). Kemahiran komunikasi pula perlu diukur menggunakanrubrik yang bersesuaian. <strong>Penilaian</strong> terhadap pembentangan boleh dinilai olehpelajar sendiri, rakan sebaya, pensyarah atau penilai luar.7.5 ProjekProjek mengaplikasi pengetahuan, konsep dan kemahiran yang diperolehisepanjang program. Pelajar perlu menggabungkan beberapa aspek pengalamanmereka sepanjang program berkenaan. Projek berasaskan kepada kajianliteratur, penyelidikan, penyelesaian masalah, rekabentuk, penghasilan prototaipatau penyediaan perancangan perniagaan (contoh rubrik seperti Lampiran B2).6


_____________GARIS PANDUAN PELAKSANAAN PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUS7.6 Jurnal ReflektifJurnal reflektif ialah satu penulisan yang membolehkan pelajar merekodpemikiran dan pandangan mengenai pengalaman pembelajaran mereka sendiri.Jurnal reflektif merupakan penulisan tentang apa dan bagaimana mereka belajardan memahami sesuatu tajuk. Jurnal reflektif juga melibatkan pelajar menelitisemula proses pembelajaran, membuat penilaian kendiri terhadap prestasimereka dan merancang pembelajaran masa hadapan berdasarkan pengalamanlepas.7.7 End-of-Chapter<strong>Penilaian</strong> melalui masalah end-of-chapter digunakan bagi memantapkan danmengaplikasi beberapa konsep dan kemahiran yang dipelajari dalam bilik kuliah.<strong>Penilaian</strong> ini selalunya melibatkan item yang memerlukan jawapan pendek danboleh dilaksanakan setelah tamat sesuatu topik atau tamat sesuatu sesi kuliah.7.8 Kajian KesKajian kes menerangkan tentang sesuatu isu atau masalah. Kajian kesmemberikan pelajar peluang untuk meletakkan diri mereka sebagai pembuatkeputusan dalam sesuatu situasi. Senario ini selalunya diambil dari keadaansebenar dan dipersembahkan dari perspektif pembuat keputusan. Kes yangberjaya membolehkan beberapa tindakan alternatif diperdebat.7.9 CapstoneCapstone dilaksanakan di peringkat akhir kursus atau program. Capstonemerupakan satu instrumen pentaksiran yang mengukur kognitif dan kemahiraninsaniah dalam konteks yang lebih luas seperti penyelesaian masalah, literasikomputer, kerja berpasukan, kemahiran komunikasi dan sebagainya. Capstonejuga berupaya mengenalpasti sama ada pelajar telah memperoleh pengetahuanteras dan kemahiran dalam pencapaian hasil pembelajaran tertentu bagi sesuatuprogram (contoh rubrik seperti Lampiran B3).7


_____________GARIS PANDUAN PELAKSANAAN PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUSBAHAGIAN 3 : PELAKSANAAN PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUS8.0 PROSEDUR PENILAIAN KERJA KURSUSLangkah umum yang perlu diambil oleh pensyarah semasa melaksanakan <strong>Penilaian</strong><strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong> adalah seperti berikut:8.1 Pensyarah perlu merujuk kepada dokumen kurikulum mengenai hasilpembelajaran dan kaedah penilaian.8.2 Pensyarah membekalkan sinopsis kursus yang mengandungi maklumat tentanghasil pembelajaran, kriteria penilaian dan kaedah penilaian kepada pelajar padasesi awal pengkuliahan.8.3 Pensyarah melaksanakan kaedah penilaian yang telah ditetapkan dalamdokumen kurikulum berdasarkan perkara berikut:i. hasil pembelajaran yang ditetapkan dalam dokumen kurikulum tidakboleh diubah.ii. kriteria penilaian yang digunakan bagi mengukur tahap pencapaianpelajar dalam sesuatu hasil pembelajaran perlu dimaklumkan kepadapelajar.8.4 Pensyarah menyemak hasil kerja pelajar dan memberikan maklum balasdeskriptif. Maklum balas deskriptif yang berkesan perlu:i. berfokuskan hasil pembelajaran yang diinginkan.ii.iii.iv.mengenal pasti kekuatan.mencadangkan penambahbaikan yang boleh dilakukan oleh pelajar.pensyarah memberikan markah berdasarkan peraturan pemarkahan danrubrik, seterusnya merekodkan markah berkenaan.v. Pensyarah melaksanakan pengukuran hasil pembelajaran danmencadangkan penambahbaikan berterusan (CQI) bagi petunjuk prestasiyang tidak dapat dicapai sebagaimana yang telah ditetapkan.8

Course Learning Outcome (CLO).ii.iii.iv.Jenis <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong>, bilangannya dan peratus pemberatan pemarkahan yangtelah ditentukan di dalam silibus.Assessment Specification Table (AST)Matrix of PLO Vs PEO.v. Matrix of Course Vs PLO.vi.Matrix of CLO Vs PLO.10.0 PENUTUP<strong>Penilaian</strong> <strong>Kerja</strong> <strong>Kursus</strong> adalah proses pengumpulan bukti pencapaian hasilpembelajaran oleh pelajar sepanjang semester. Melalui pengumpulan data tersebutpensyarah dapat memperbaiki kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran disampingmemberi panduan kepada pelajar untuk meningkatkan penglibatan yang lebih aktifdalam proses pembelajaran.9
