Wetherefore conclude that the examinations were fair, valid andcredible. We commend DBE for running a successful and credibleexaminations process. Accordingly, we hereby approve the releaseof the results of the National Senior Certificate Examinationsadministered by the Department of Basic Education.Conclusion39. <strong>Umalusi</strong> Council is pleased that the system is stabilising well andhas reached a significant level of maturity as evidenced by thehigh percentage of subjects whose raw marks were accepted afterthe moderation process.40.
