You, as prison PE officers, are in a uniqueposition to encourage and supportprisoners to get fit and prepare for healthierlives when they go back to the community.You get to know prisoners in the course ofyour work, and they get to know you andrespect you. We know from our survey (towhich 44 prisons replied) that many of youare doing lots of good things to promotehealthier lifestyles. We didn’t have space toinclude them all, but we hope this guidegives you a few extra ideas to explore, basedon the experience of your colleagues.
