vi• Conventions Used to Show Key or Button OperationsCharacters enclosed by brackets ([ ])In descriptions of key or button operations, words enclosed in brackets indicate either a key onthe keyboard, a button name in a window, or an item on a list box displayed in a window.Example:To alter the function, press the [ESC] key.• Conventions of a User-defined FolderUser-defined folder nameIf the folder path can be defined by users, it is written within parentheses.Example:(RS Project Folder)\SCS0101If the RS Project Folder is C:\MYRSPJT, the previous path becomes: C:\MYRSPJT\SCS0101• Drawing ConventionsSome drawings may be partially emphasized, simplified, or omitted for the convenience ofdescription.In the user’s manual, the parts in some drawings may be placed in different positions or havedifferent font settings. Note that some of the images in user’s manuals are display examples.• Integration with CENTUMProSafe-RS can be integrated with CENTUM VP or CENTUM CS 3000. In the ProSafe-RSuser’s manuals, the integration with CENTUM VP or CENTUM CS 3000 is referred to as“Integration with CENTUM.”When CENTUM features are referred to in the user’s manual, feature names from CENTUM VPare used instead of those from CENTUM CS 3000.
