According to findings, 25 percent of totalexporters had professional experience less than ten years whereas 62, 10and 2.5 percent of total exporters had professional experience in the range of10 to 20 years, 21 to 30 years and above 30 years, respectively. So a largemajority of the exporters had experience more than ten years in mangoexport business (Table 3).Table 3. Only 8 percent of total exporters purchasedfor an average price range of Rs. 26000 to Rs. 27500 per tonne. So adominating share of total exporters i.e.(92.5%) purchased mangoes for pricerange of Rs. 27501 to Rs. 31000 per tonne. These purchase prices werecalculated considering both sources of purchase (Punjab and Sindh) for twodominating varieties i.e. Chaunsa and Sindhri.J. Agric. Res., 2010, 48(1)
