LCA Control Laws<strong>NAL</strong> continued to play amajor supporting role in thelight combat aircraft (LCA)design and development. A<strong>National</strong> Control Law (CLAW)team, led by S Srinathkumar,was set up in the mid-1990’s.<strong>NAL</strong>’s Shyam Chetty (second fromleft), a member <strong>of</strong> the CLAW team,in front <strong>of</strong> the NT33-InflightSimulator (IFS) at Calspan, USA, inJune 1995. The LCA control lawswere simulated on NT33-IFS andsuccessfully validated through aseries <strong>of</strong> flight tests.126
