The efficiency of modern lighting solutions
in security areas around the house
is based on STEINEL infra-red sensors.
These sensors automatically switch on
the light as they detect activity in the area
scanned. They are safe, reliable and precise.
With the introduction of this microprocessor-controlled
infra-red sensor, STEINEL
sets new standards in sensor technology.
Three integrated pyro-sensors detect any
activity within a 300° angle. Mounted on a
house wall, the detector scans a radius of
12 m. Nothing will escape the sensor
eye. Naturally, it is possible to adjust the
area covered by altering the sensor's
angle by +/- 80° or by fitting a deflector
plate. Specifications include a wide range
of adjustment options, such as length of
delay (timer) and light response at dusk.
The electronic radius stabilising system
ensures the area scanned is up to 12 m
at all times, and in any type of weather to
provide reliable operation of the sensor
even at varying temperatures. These
functions combined with first-rate quality
provide a maximum of user convenience
and economy wherever the sensor is
used in security areas around the house.
