Follow these steps to obtain yourusername <strong>and</strong> set up your password: 1) Go tomyusername.clemson.edu; 2) enter your <strong>Clemson</strong>ID (CID) number <strong>and</strong> the username activationcode you received in an email from the <strong>Clemson</strong>Admissions Office; <strong>and</strong> 3) follow instructions tocreate a secure password. When creating yourpassword, be sure to create one you can remember,<strong>and</strong> do not share it with anyone. Once youcomplete these steps, you will need to completelyclose your browser before logging in to <strong>Clemson</strong>’siROAR Web portal.What is iROAR? How do I log in?IROAR is <strong>Clemson</strong>’s student information systemfor all enrolled students. To log in to the iROARWeb portal, you will need your <strong>Clemson</strong> username<strong>and</strong> password. Final approval foruse of transferable credits in a particular degreeprogram is determined by your academic adviserat <strong>Transfer</strong> Orientation.There are courses on my transferarticulation summary that are indicated as“ELEC 0001 or subject-area credits 1999-4999.” What does this mean? Will I getcredit toward my degree program for anELEC 0001 or a subject-area 1999-4999course?<strong>Clemson</strong> reviews all previous course work astudent submits <strong>and</strong> determines the transferabilityof the courses. The 100-<strong>and</strong> 200-level coursescompleted at another college or university that aredetermined transferable will come in as either 1)an exact <strong>Clemson</strong> course equivalent, 2) as ELEC0001 or 3) a subject-area credit (1999, 2999,3999 or 4999). Students bringing in transferable100- <strong>and</strong> 200-level courses for which there areno <strong>Clemson</strong> course equivalents will be awardedELEC 0001 or subject-area 1999-4999 credit.Students are strongly encouraged to bring thecourse description <strong>and</strong> syllabus for any courselisted as ELEC 0001 or as subject-area electivecredit (1999, 2999, 3999 or 4999) when theycome to <strong>Transfer</strong> Orientation. WhatCMPT score is needed to enroll in MTHS1060 (Calc I)?The Basic Skills Test (BST) is designed to assessa student’s calculus skill level <strong>and</strong> is an accuratepredictor of student performance in the MTHScalculus sequence. The BST is administered forMTHS 1060, 1080 <strong>and</strong> 2060 <strong>and</strong> is used only toadvise students. The BST cannot be used to satisfya prerequisite. To review the CMPT score necessaryfor placement into MTHS 1060 (Calc I), visit theCMPT Web page at mthsc.clemson.edu/cmpt.I did not get accepted into my first choiceof major. What do I do? Whom do I talk to?When applying to <strong>Clemson</strong>, students are requiredto list a first <strong>and</strong> second choice of academicmajor. Due to enrollment limitations <strong>and</strong> otherrequirements, some students are admitted totheir second choice of major. If you are interestedin changing your major, you may discuss yourrequest with an Admissions Office staff memberduring Orientation or before the first day ofclasses. Please be advised that the AdmissionsOffice does not process major changes after thestart of classes. It contains samples ofthe student’s papers, videos, presentations,etc., collected from classes or other <strong>Clemson</strong>experiences.
