6B • The Seminole Tribune • December 19, 2012Hollywood preschoolers prepare for Christmas seasonBY BEVERLY BIDNEYStaff ReporterHOLLYWOOD — Theannual holiday season usuallybegins in front of a festivelydecorated Christmas tree in a faceoffwith a camera. The formalholiday portrait session can be abreeze or a catastrophe, dependingon the age, mood and expectationof the subject.At the Hollywood Preschoolon Nov. 28, the mood ran fromcheerful to tearful as children tooktheir places in front of the treewhile photographer Tim Taylortried to make a pleasant holidayphoto. Bedecked in their fanciestclothes, the tiny tots did their bestto sit still and smile for the cameraas teachers and mom stood closeby. In some cases, the moms werecalled upon to hold their crankykids as Taylor worked to isolate theface and the background to give theillusion of sitting nicely in front ofthe tree.Off camera, eager childrenattempted to wait patiently for theirturns in front of the tree.
