The needto train with real substances and agents can never beentirely eliminated. However by using realistic simulationsof dispersions together with source strengths, spilllocations, geographical environment, weather conditionsand positions of simulated sensors, live sensors, vehicles,personnel etc., this can be greatly reduced.The simulation can support different training needssuch as the AWR simulation system which has thecapability to simulate the dispersion of a chemicalagent and then provide relevant CBRN-sensorinformation in a Battle Management System forwarning and reporting.
