Cloud Point - The temperature at which a cloud of wax crystals appears when alubricant or distillate fuel is cooled under standard conditions. Indicates thetendency of the material to plus filters or small orifices under cold-weatherconditions.Cold Crank Simulator (CCS) - An intermediate shear rate viscometer thatpredicts the ability of an oil to permit a satisfactory cranking speed to bedeveloped in a cold engine (ASTM D-5293).Compatibility - A lubricant’s ability to be mixed with another lubricant withoutdetriment to either lubricant.
