This face-to-face, “handson”approach has helped <strong>FOIA</strong> POCs to better manage their timeliness <strong>of</strong>submissions and has reduced the BIS backlog to zero.BIS <strong>FOIA</strong> <strong>Officer</strong> and POC have more aggressively monitored theWebCIMS tracking program to ensure a zero backlog is maintainedensuring timeliness <strong>of</strong> all <strong>FOIA</strong> requests.BIS <strong>FOIA</strong> <strong>Officer</strong> will work quickly to assist the Office <strong>of</strong> GeneralCounsel in answering Administrative Appeals.International Trade Administration:I: STEPS TAKEN TO APPLY THE PRESUMPTION OF OPENNESS1.
