The deliverable is in 3 spreadsheets (attached here in printed form)The Musical Instrument Makers’ Dictionary is delivered as 3 spreadsheets: Persons, Corporate andFamiliesEach of them is an authority file similar to those in use in all libraries catalogues.Such catalogues commonly divide authorities into two categories: Persons and Corporate.Having referred to the new bibliographic model: RDA (Resource Data and Access), now to be applied byIFLA (International Federation of Libraries Associations), our working group decided to add the third onerepresented, Families. This file is particularly well adapted to musical instrument makers: many musicalinstruments from 17 th and 18 th century are often linked to a family of instrument makers rather than aspecific individual.2.
