Meets: Wednesdays, 1 p.m.<strong>Fearrington</strong> Cares. A truly unique not-for-profit offering workshops and help from the nurse, aride, computer help, minor home repairs etc., and more. Annual membership is $10 per person (10 films).<strong>Fearrington</strong> Friends of Scandinavia. Loosely organized group which meets intermittently forfood, fun and fellowship. Gatherings have a short meeting followed by a meal. Open toeveryone.<strong>Fearrington</strong> Friends of the Arts. Explore the many expressions not only in NC but alsothroughout the Southeast. Speakers for 4 programs during the year are selected from visual andperforming arts, architecture and design. One day trip each spring. Programs are held in TheGathering Place.<strong>Fearrington</strong> Green Scene. The Green Scene’s vision statement is: “<strong>Fearrington</strong> residents andorganizations take active steps to reduce consumption of energy, water, and other resources;reuse goods and supplies, and recycle whenever possible.”<strong>Fearrington</strong> Opera Club. For residents of <strong>Fearrington</strong> and Galloway Ridge who enjoy listeningto, attending and talking about opera. Provides bimonthly programs from September to May atthe Gathering Place.<strong>Fearrington</strong> Railroad Club. Informal group meets about 6 times/year for those interested inrailroad travel, photography, history, collecting railroadiana, and modeling. SelectedWednesday evenings between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m.<strong>Fearrington</strong> Republicans. Shares your concerns on the local, state and national levels byinviting insightful speakers and encouraging open discussion. All are welcome. Meets: FourthWednesday at 7:00 pm.<strong>Fearrington</strong> Visual Arts Guild. Brings together <strong>Fearrington</strong> residents interested in drawing andpainting. Meets: Tuesday, 1-4 p.m.
