2.2 <strong>Catalogue</strong> <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Model</strong> UML diagramA simple UML diagram for the top level model of the <strong>Catalogue</strong> follows. Thedetails of each of the specific objects can be found below in the XML schemadefinitions and diagrams.The diagram should be read as follows:“A <strong>Catalogue</strong> (the container) is an object with a name, an identifier, ashortName and list of Curation attributes, like publisher, creator, etc., whichcome from the specification of the <strong>IVOA</strong> Resource Registry.This <strong>Catalogue</strong> contains one or more <strong>Catalogue</strong>Entry(ies), each of which couldcontain Curation data different from the main Catlogue one.Those <strong>Catalogue</strong>Entry(ies) can be of different types. For the time being, thosetypes are Source and QuantityList. The Source type is described by the <strong>IVOA</strong>Source <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Model</strong> and the QuantityList describes a list of Quantities (asdescribed in the <strong>IVOA</strong> Quantity <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Model</strong>).”
