Class 5 are managingraffle tickets and will receive theirs to sellvery soon. The rest of the school hasn’t beenforgotten though. You can collect your raffletickets to sell from the office next week.With such wonderful experiences as prizes itwill be easy to sell them. Stay tuned to hearabout an incentive prize...Twilight ConcertA big thanks goes out to all the wonderfulpeople involved in getting the hall and theamphitheatre ready for festiValley. It reallywas a beautiful sight seeing everyone workingtogether to lay the turf...I could alreadypicture it full of people enjoying our twilightconcert.Art Exhibition onagain at festiValleyThe Art Exhibition is onagain this year! Followingon from the success of theExhibition over the last twoyears, the School will againbe hosting a fabulousdisplay of art work fromour community. The ArtExhibition Opening willbe held on Friday night27 August and will remainopen during festiValley onSaturday 28 August.The Exhibition is open to adults and wealso invite Year 12 students within ourschool to show their work. (We are currentlyconsidering other options to show children’sartwork).Start developing your concept now, designingyour work and getting it started! Let’s make itamazing!!!Classes 8 and 9 are managing severalactivities during the day. Theseconsist of a Teen tent (a teen onlyzone), dunking machine, greasy pig and collectingtickets for workshops.Classes 10, 11 and 12 are working with JanBaker-Finch on the twilight concert and withClass 7 on set down.As with the Primary School, each family inthe High School is asked to provide 1 savouryand 1 sweet item for the Cafe andeach class will also fill spots on the Cafe roster.More details about these preparationswill be coming soon.High School families can you please bringyour donations for the second chanceclothes and bookstall along to school anddrop them off at the High School office. Weneed a great range of clothes and booksthat include teen and adult, not just thosefor the younger children. Many of our regular crafty friends will be watchingtheir children in the kindergarten Winter Festival spiralwalk so I think it will be a cosy little group.Lesley needs some help tomake bees for one of thefestiValley stalls – she tellsme they are very sweetand simple and there willbe plenty of opportunity tomake one for yourself.I will also bring with me all the UFOs (unfinishedobjects) from this term that I hope somewilling hands will pick up and complete. Ofcourse there will be morning tea and caketoo!
