<strong>Trauma</strong>-<strong>Informed</strong> <strong>Practice</strong> Tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g Beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the Fall <strong>of</strong> 2011, The County <strong>of</strong> <strong>San</strong><strong>Diego</strong> provided a 6-hour <strong>Trauma</strong>-<strong>Informed</strong> practicetra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g based on the two-day tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g from theNational Child <strong>Trauma</strong>tic Stress Network. Over 500social workers received the tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g and all new<strong>in</strong>com<strong>in</strong>g social workers receive <strong>Trauma</strong>-<strong>Informed</strong>practice through the tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g academy Staff tra<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> Safety–Organized <strong>Practice</strong> which<strong>in</strong>cludes 12 modules, 3-hours each
