N EW B UILDINGSOpenings of the Popham Centre and Music SchoolGuests gather outside the Popham CentreOn Saturday 6th October 2007, the Popham Centre wasopened by Professor Richard Bowring (W 1960-64) and theMusic School by Peter Hurford (SH 1944-48). Between thetwo openings, 175 guests enjoyed an excellent lunch in BigSchool, which was preceded by short addresses from theHead Master, Ian Davenport, and the Chairman of Governors,David Fursdon. A short concert followed lunch.Both buildings have been in use two terms now and haveadded greatly to the range and quality Blundell’s offersacademically, musically and in Information Technology.
