Following much debate ACPIN decided thatthis was an excellent chance to promote neurophysiotherapy.Six regions volunteered to host the days, and the datesare as follows:■ Liverpool 26th April■ Stirling 22 May■ Poole 5th June■ Bristol early June■ Norwich 30 June■ Kent date to be confirmedLater in the year the course will also be available inLondon and Northern Ireland.All of the regions have been actively involved in planningthe programme in conjunction with AthenaNeurosciences. A stimulating day has been organisedincorporating a Medical Update as introduction, andtopics such as neurophysiology, seating and posture,and neurophysiotherapy with a case study example.The aim of each day being to provide the opportunityfor acute and community based physiotherapists to joinforces to expand their knowledge of spasticity management,highlighting problems experienced in primarycare.The study days will include refreshments and lunch. AllACPIN members will be able to attend free of charge,but places will be limited.
