LIFESTYLE COMMITMENTWhile the Seminary recognizes the freedom of each student to develop under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, students at the Seminary are recognized asChristian leaders by people in the community. Therefore certain standards of conduct and appearance are to govern the student body (Rom. 14:21–22). The useof tobacco and the use of alcoholic beverages (except for liturgical, ceremonial, medicinal, or other exceptional instances) are not considered suitable for theSeminary faculty, staff, and students.As representatives of Jesus Christ, students are responsible to demonstrate a lifestyle consistent with His character and are expected to be men and women ofhigh moral character and whose sexual conduct is consistent with the standards of Scripture.
