Born in Ottawa, Moshergraduated from the École des Beaux-arts in 1967. He famouslywon entrance to this fine arts college by forging his highschoolgraduation certificate, which he calls his most successfulwork. The author <strong>of</strong> 43 books, Aislin’s drawing have alsoappeared in numerous international publications, such asPunch, The Atlantic Monthly, Harper’s, National Lampoon,Tim, The Washington Star, <strong>and</strong> The New York Times. He is therecipient <strong>of</strong> two National Newspaper Awards <strong>and</strong> five individualprizes from the international Salon <strong>of</strong> Caricature. In1985, Mosher became the youngest person ever to be inductedinto the Canadian News Hall <strong>of</strong> Fame. In 2002 he was madean Officer <strong>of</strong> the Order <strong>of</strong> Canada.
