The right Flygt pumps andcontroller for CompitGrinder pumps with cutting impellerfor sewageFlygt submersible grinder pumps such as the 3068and 3102 have an impeller unit designed specially forhandling the rigours of wastewater pumping. Withcomponents made of chromium-alloy and stainlesssteel, a cutting impeller grinds particles until theymeasure no more than 5 x 15 mm, thus eliminating therisk of clogging. The fine slurry can then be pumpedthrough pipes measuring just50 mm in diameter. Thesepumps can be run intermittentlywith up to 30 starts per hour,and can handle liquids attemperatures up to 40°C.Control panelsFlygt panels have been adapted for controlling pumpswith Flygt’s ENM-10 level regulators. The units aredesigned for fast installation and setup. With theirsteel housing and an exterior finish that has beenspecified for the tough environment typical in pumpstations, these Flygt control panels will provide years ofreliable service.Flygt ENM-10 float switchThe ENM-10 float switch can beused to regulate a liquid leveland/or to indicate the presence ofliquid in a sump (tank, well, etc.).
