Loudspeaker CablesSword CableSUPRA’s flagship. Sword is a patented cable. The secret is the bifilar woundlitz conductors, each comprising 24 individually insulated wires.The bifilar winding is built with 12 of these wires helically wound in onedirection and 12 in the opposite direction. This divides the magnetic fieldinto opposing directions resulting in self-cancellation. Because Sword’sconductors comprise a number of insulated wires, dynamic skin effect iscancelled.Therefore Sword behaves as a non-inductive and phase stable cable.The difference in phase shift from 500Hz to 100kHz is only 0.002 deg.This allows for perfect timing.Patent holder: Johnny Svärd.Sword is available only as a terminated setOwing to the special construction with two opposite woundwire groups which cancel each other’s fields, the terminationquality is very critical.The termination is done with strong, gas tight crimping, sothe joined metals are fused into one unit.
