In addition toachiev<strong>in</strong>g these aims, members have found that their image and reputation have benefited byjo<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g the <strong>Challenge</strong>.Members are tak<strong>in</strong>g a range of actions to achieve the <strong>Challenge</strong>, from question<strong>in</strong>g the need totravel and rais<strong>in</strong>g awareness of emissions from fly<strong>in</strong>g, to sett<strong>in</strong>g flight reduction targets andmak<strong>in</strong>g greater use of video and audio conferenc<strong>in</strong>g. They’re also us<strong>in</strong>g carbon report<strong>in</strong>g farmore than expected to help them achieve the <strong>Challenge</strong>.<strong>Challenge</strong> members are progressive organisations that are lead<strong>in</strong>g by example and show<strong>in</strong>gbest practice <strong>in</strong> be<strong>in</strong>g able to achieve significant reductions <strong>in</strong> flight numbers. To do this,they’ve needed to challenge the assumption that meet<strong>in</strong>gs must be face-to-face, hold morevirtual meet<strong>in</strong>gs, and choose rail over air where possible for unavoidable travel.Above all, <strong>WWF</strong>’s <strong>One</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>Challenge</strong> is help<strong>in</strong>g members to discover that fly<strong>in</strong>g less is good forbus<strong>in</strong>ess. Through the <strong>One</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>Five</strong> <strong>Challenge</strong>, members have also been able to reduce theircarbon footpr<strong>in</strong>t and f<strong>in</strong>d other, lower-carbon ways of stay<strong>in</strong>g connected. This has helped ourmembers to collaborate better, with faster decision mak<strong>in</strong>g be<strong>in</strong>g possible thanks to morevirtual meet<strong>in</strong>gs.For each of the five years we’re runn<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>Challenge</strong>, we’ll be issu<strong>in</strong>g an Annual Report torecord the achievements of <strong>Challenge</strong> members <strong>in</strong> cutt<strong>in</strong>g their flights, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g case studies.The <strong>One</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>Five</strong> <strong>Challenge</strong> cont<strong>in</strong>ues to be open to new members.
