IBC CD Now Available for Download• The International Baptist Convention’s CDProject “Many Places, Many Faces” is now availablefor download from most online stores sellingmusic. This is the latest step in promoting this albumof original music, created by musicians fromnine IBC churches in five different churches.The CD debuted at the Interlaken Summer Experiencein July. CDs are still available from the IBCOffice. These may be pre-ordered for 8.50 € each.Payment is due after CDs are sold.Christmas is fast approaching, and these CDswill make excellent gifts. Ben Galler, coordinatorfor the project writes: “The music on [the CD]covers all types of genres, fits all age-groups, andis enjoyed by many people already, regardless ofconfession or even no confession at all! Use it as atool of outreach, and let neighbors, friends, colleagues,beloved ones, and your dearest enemiesknow what Christ can do to people once they onlyallow Him to. Each song is an individual testimonyof somebody whose life has been changedby the living God Himself.”All profits from the project will benefit theIBC.•“Like Us”: The IBC Facebook Page• The International Baptist Convention has setup its own Facebook page in order to better connectwith you. This will allow us to publish infoon our conferences throughout the year, great opportunitiesoffered through the convention, andother important announcements like the openingof new church plants around the world. If yougo to www.facebook.com/internationalbaptistsyou will find our page and can “Like” us if youhave your own Facebook account (you shouldbe able to view our page even without your ownaccount).By “liking” the IBC page, Facebook will helpkeep you up-to-date when new postings go up.Your connection will help spread the word aboutthe IBC so that more people can find out aboutour family of churches. If you find a post to be ofspecial interest to you or others in your church,you can “share” the post on your wall. This willhelp more of your friends and church membersto see the information that may be of interest tothem, such as the video we recently posted aboutInterlaken.For IBC churches who have a Facebook page,please link with the IBC by having your church“like” the IBC page. We will, in return, “like” yourchurch’s page so that people who come to the IBCpage can find info about your church. •David W. FreschIBC Missions Trip to Moldova• As part of its partnership with the BaptistUnion of Moldova, the International Baptist Conventionwill sponsor an evangelistic mission tripto Moldova, 18-24 February. The focus of the tripwill be an evangelism campaign with social outreachin the village of Leova. Leova is located onthe Romanian border, 92 kilometers southwest ofthe Moldovan capital Chisinau.Partnership Coordinator Bill Tully is currentlyrecruiting interested team members. Preachers aswell as outreach ministry and children’s ministrypeople are needed. Part of the Global Missions Offering(see related article on page 9) will be usedto make up care packages (food, clothing, andsupplies) for those in need in the village. Providingfor physical needs in the village will hopefullyopen the door to help to meet the spiritual needsas well. In addition to the project in Leova, therewill be visits to several local churches as well as thepossibility of a leadership serminar.Participants will need to cover the cost of theirairline tickets to Chisinau as well as housing costs.Housing should average 20 € a day. Dependingon the housing situation (homes or hotel), mealsmay be an additional expense. U.S. and most Europeancountry passport holders do not requirea visa. For more information on visas, please seewww.mfa.gov.md/entry-visas-moldova/.Moldova is currently celebrating its Thanksgivingseason (six weeks beginning the first Sundayin October). Churches select one Sunday duringthat time to celebrate, usually having an evangelisticservice.
